Squirrels in the Sosnovka park | April 2014

The Sosnovka park is the forest area in the north of Saint Petersburg. It’s a home not only for different types of birds but also for red squirrels. And spring is a great time to observe red squirrels as they change the colour of their fur.

Red squirrels in the Sosnovka park are almost tame, they aren’t afraid of humans and are used to them. They know that humans come here to feed birds and squirrels and that they would bring nuts with them. So it was quite easy to find squirrels and take photos of them.
