Sakura blossom in the Botanical Garden | May 2015

Spring blossom at Saint Petersburg’s Botanical Garden.
Every year in early May sakura trees (and other trees of course) start to bloom intensively. Lots of people gather around them trying to catch the moments of pink happiness.

Here are moments of my “sakura hanami” from May 2015. I hope you’ll enjoy it and it will bring peace to your heart.

Sakura and other trees in the Botanical Garden | April 2014

Oh, the spring and its sweet unrealistic promises of beautiful future. I walked around St. Petersburg’s Botanical Garden during the most romantic time of the year (back in 2014).

Spring blossom in the Chinese Garden of Friendship | April 2014

There’s a small spot on Ligovsky Avenue in Saint Petersburg called the Chinese Garden of Friendship, where every spring you can watch several pink blossoming cherry trees. Hundreds of local people and tourists come here to take selfies with the blooming cherry trees or photos of these cute little flowers, and of course I did the same thing.
